  • God I wish my computer had better speakers!!! RIP Jaco.

  • @randyreal574 sadly he also had bi polar disorder and at the time there was little treatment options for it

  • I know from experience Alcohol takes you places you would never go. I love Jaco,he was a victim.

  • @randyreal574

    you r so wrong

    not the alcohol took him

he was a homicide of a bouncer

  • It's So Sad that King Alcohol took Him.

  • victor wooten!!! is the best! ever he can play all this way better lol

  • Pastorius and Shawn Lane jam would be nuts

  • I won't say best ever. I will say that he was so far out in front with his use of the instrument, that he outclassed the [perception of what a bass player was supposed to be.

He is one of the greatest ever, and that I say without hesitation!

How do you disrespect other players who were instrumental in the instrument's development. Jamerson, Babbitt, and others?

Jaco is still on the top of any "best" list. I think that all of them had a voice that had unique qualities.

  • @EversoleKid and this is the best compliment that you can make to an artist, I think.

  • @Orangemongoose1 Dude, I can assure you the punk rockers wouldn't say Dee Dee or Mike Dirnt, because; Mike Dirnt doesn´t play punk rock, he plays bullshit, while Dee Dee is just plucking the head note. We'd probably say Jay Bentley or Matt Freeman, but those are just the best punk players, not the best bassists of all. Jaco is the best, period.
