I actually made this video on the 4th of Feb this year but had decided not to post it because well I thought I could of done better (hands.. arms...I swear they hate me lol). It was my first time dancing to an actual bellydance drum solo, aside from Shakira's drum solo at the start of the OBjection Tango afro punk remix that I used in my One World performance. THere are some moments where the song did something different from what I thought it did lol, that is what I get for assuming eh;)
Anyway after many requests for a drum solo I decided that I would just post this one, that way we can all (hopefully) see me get better with each drum solo I do. Next time I do one I will try to do it up close since that has also been requested a lot. I also left my first attempt at the song "Habibi Ya Albi" that I have already posted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Efz6TTiUmlI&feature=channel_page) so if you want you can tell me which you prefer. I had to briefly cut off the very end of it because I had grabbed both skirts instead of just the top one doing my spin at the end and flashed my underwear to the camera.. and no one needs to see that so you can see a pic of my horse and I instead lol.
Sorry for double posting that song but I had decided to randomly dance it at the end of the drum solo since it came on right after so I figured I'd just leave it on there. Shows how I dance and practice. I'm very random lol. I don't choreograph anything as I have trouble thinking while dancing;)

you are so amazing, i was looking for some good videos to get me started with bellydancing since i only knew the very basics but i been dancing for over 12 years and you are so good. i have always had great body control but this is so out of my league, i cant wait to see more of your videos

at 2:55 I don't like how you ended the drum solo with those fast hip drops they don't go with the music i would try spinning or some traveliing hip twists to better go with the drum
and for the habib el alb, at 5:27 you do a choo choo shimmy that i think is misplaced completely
was that improv?
anyway great job i enjoy your chest isolations you are really good at that
but watch those arms! and the pic of you and your horse is adorable!

I appreciate your opinion. I happen to like the hip drops at the end and think they fit. HOwever I do agree that something other than the choo choo shimmy may have worked better in the second song. It was my first time dancing to it and yes it was improv.
