4th of July 2010 in Newport Beach

The 2010 annual 4th of July in Newport Beach by "kenny and the skull". The NBPD (read NB city council) pretty much shut it down this year. They even fenced off the entire Jack-in the-Box shopping center and made people walk a mile loop to get back to Balboa and PCH ... Boooooooooo!!!

It was bound to happen, plus cloudy cool weather to dampen the party vibe. Can the 4th make a come back in 2011? Stay tuned.

PS - southern ground swell was developing, Monday should have waves.

Yea dude, we know. Got there late this year due to technical difficulties. But also the crowd was much smaller this year the NBPD with their fences keep things much more sedate.
