After a nearly three-week layoff from game action, Chivas USA returns to MLS play this Saturday, Aug. 8, at 6:30 p.m. PT, at the Colorado Rapids. The Red-and-Whites last match was on July 19 at the New England Revolution, and the team will be looking to end a four-match losing streak against the Rapids. Chivas USA is currently tied for fourth place in the Western Conference with an 8-6-3 record (W-L-T) and 27 points, but the Red-and-White have played at least two fewer games than every other team in the division, and trail the LA Galaxy by one point and Seattle Sounders FC by two. This Saturdays game will be broadcast live locally on FS West and W Radio 690 AM, with pregame coverage starting at 6:00 p.m. PT. Chivas USA then faces New York on the road on Aug. 15 before returning home for an Aug. 22 matchup against Toronto FC; for more information, or to purchase tickets, please call 1-877-CHIVAS-1 or visit cdchivasusa.com.
Chivas USA defender Jonathan Bornstein and goalkeeper Lance Parker discuss the team's long layoff and Saturday's match in Colorado.
