hi I followed your tutorial, but when I come to put images onto my website when i click on the image it takes me to a different tab in my web browser. i can get that window come up on the same page.

Yes, in next gen you create your own galleries and albums within your wordpress installation and then upload your photos and attribute them to their appropriate gallery.

Your adding of pictures to a gallery is straight forward, but my problem is that after I reach 9 pictures they no longer sequence properly. The 10 picture is added after the 2nd picture and all of my pictures are numbered sequentially 1-79 and I can figure no way to reorder them. Can you help?

Go to Manage Gallery, pick the one you want, then click Sort Gallery and you can drag and drop the pics around to get the order you want.

Go to Gallery / Manage Gallery - select the gallery you want to reorder - select "Sort Gallery" button - drag and drop - click "Update Sort Order"
