I got a question man. I usually use an audio interface only to record but im wanting to get into using a mixer and audio interface. Are you running your mbox to the computer separately, or are you running it to your mackie control universal that your running to your computer?

hey man where did you get your desk? If you remember can you tell me what model it is? Thanks for the video

do you think is it really necessary to have a analog mixer these days?

@DevonWhite67 Thanks man! I'm thinking the extenders should work to some degree with the MCU config selected. If not, then a full MIDI mapping should work, although it will take some time to set up. Image Line has stopped worked on developing a config for the extenders for about 2 years now...and that's a bit sad to see. Most companies hardly include support for FL, and here they have one of the best controllers for FL & they stopped development. Smh!

@DevonWhite67 I was going through the IL forums, and read that in order to have full functionality, you have to set the MIDI port of the MCU to 102.
Excellent video. I have two important questions. I looked forever for a decent controller to use in FL Studio and finally came upon this. Now, I know FL developed a preconfigured setting in its controller options to work flawlessly with the MCU (Not the Pro, but the original one) unfortunately, they haven't done any work on the extenders, or the Mackie C4 Controller. My questions are, can the MCU Pro work with the FL preconfig? And can the extenders be setup by the user to work? Thanks again.

@VenVile Okay, I've been reading through all the responses and have seen that you answered one of my questions already. Yep, it MCU Pro does work well with the MCU config in the MIDI settings. Now, can the extenders be set up to mimic the MCU behaviour?

@VenVile Yes it worked, I have not tried the extenders though. they do not have a selection for them in FL Studio.

@VenVile I got it to trigger FL Studio 10 in Mackie mode but fader/channel info does not show up on the MCU Pro. Maybe I am doing something wrong or it does not suport this feature. I use the Mackie to control Cubase 4 and FL Studio is routed and controlled thru Cubase.

you need to get a new desk, thats not cool when they hang off the edge like that! Always make sure you measure the desktop space before buying a desk

@TheSecretSilencer I can move it back and forward depends on my mood, at this time they do not offer a desk for my system and equipment. I had another desk as well that matches this desk so I had this one to hold my gear and for cosmetic reasons. My preference ultimately would be one that this unit would be recessed and specifically tailored for.
