Much respect for the Belgian woman and everybody else who does such a thing for those women.
Films like these have a huge impact on me... I hope I can help them someday.

wow... that was so sad. I had no idea conditions were like that. I want to join the Peace Corps and teach English, but I don't know what to expect. That was certainly something far worse than what I expected. I mean, pushing on the pregnant woman's stomach to help with the birthing process? Leaf supplementaries? man oh man... Serious respect goes out to the Belgian woman there teaching people to become nurses.

Blood transfusion in Africa without testing it on AIDS?
That is extremely dangerous?
Still Africa's population is growing
and general feigned concern. If you were truly invested in the well being of Africa, you'd be over there right now. It's too easy to sit comfortably in your computer chair, looking out into the world through a computer screen -- and then do nothing about what you see. Simply knowing about it isn't enough -- you're just as guilty as anyone -- especially if you make a habit of criticizing, but not signing up to go help. Wouldn't you agree?

I think that if the Pope is telling them not to use condoms that he should foot the bill for the pregnancies and help these people. They definitly need better medical facilities and better prenatal care. This is a shame that people have to live this way. Those children are beautiful and deserve a chance at a life.
