LA River Day with MomsLA, Pine-Sol and Latina Bloggers Connect

LA River Day was a chance for people all over Los Angeles to help clean up the LA River and to realize what a precious resource it is for us. A home to wildlife, a thing of beauty, and a place for recreation - the LA River is all that and more! Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is a big proponent of giving back to the community and has a strong commitment to Greening LA - he was there, along with FOLAR - Friends of the LA River, Latina Bloggers Connect, Girls Today, Women Tomorrow - and Pine-Sol who made generous donations to support the effort everyone was making. And for fun, Ozomatli played a concert for all the volunteers!
