Bio:
Ryan James Anderson (born May 6, 1988, in Sacramento, California) is an American professional basketball player. He was drafted by the New Jersey Nets with the 21st pick in the 2008 NBA draft. Anderson previously played the power forward position at the University of California, Berkeley. On April 3, 2008, Anderson declared himself eligible for the 2008 NBA Draft. He did not take an agent, leaving himself the option to return to Cal if he withdrew his name from the draft before June 16. Ryan Anderson attended Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, California, just 20 miles east of Sacramento. • Yeah a lot of D2 and D3 guys wind up playing overseas. Euroleague is normally loaded with D1 guys, but leagues like the Phillipines, Japan, some German teams etc. have a lot of D2 guys

  • Ryan Anderson, PF 7-14 3pt: 5-8 20 pts

  • Ryan anderson is WET

  • A pure shooter that can rebound in the paint. Good for any team, especially for the Magic.

  • keith van horn.. thats who this guy reminds me of.. big white guy with a smooth jumper and soft touch around the basket..

  • i agree 100%. I think turk was a downfall for the magic though he forced so many shots and created so many turnovers. his clutch plays were great but it wouldnt be necessary if he was smarter with the ball

  • How can you not like VInce Carter and Ryan Anderson coming to the Magic? Well I guess if you were a Nets fan. We lose Turk but we gain Vince Carter. I love Turk but I think we come out ahead with Vince. We lose Battie and gain Ryan Anderson. Battie is a solid bench player but has no perimeter shot and Ryan does. We lose Rafer but we get Jameer back. Courtney is going to be great for New Jersey but I think losing him to gain everything else was worth it.

  • WELCOME TO THE MAGIC RYAN

  • do divsion 2 college basketball players make pro anywhere in the world? or even play euro league if someone could let me know if there is a d11 guy who has done this before i would be thankful thanks

  • hes similar to dirk nowitzki but he has a long way to go
