My favorite documentary of flight. It's hard for me to talk about why and how much I love flight, and flying itself, but like the video says only the best poets in the world can describe it. This documentary got as close to it as possible. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! (:

Ah man, I'm torn. I graduated HS 3 years ago and have struggled to find my niche in the career world, aviation has really sparked my interest recently. Seems like such a great career that I'd love, but I look more into it, and it looks to be struggling in the future, runways shutting down, security issues, gas and oil prices. I'm gonna take a flight at my local runway, half hour intro course for $100, we'll see how it goes!

I would greatly encourage you to go out and do it! I know the news and such makes the Airline Industry sound like a career full of unions and troubles, but things seem to be going uphill for now. Boeing estimates a need for about 466,650 pilots in the next 20 years due to the increase in travel, and number of planes in the market. RC Flyers, go to the EAA website, find a chapter in your area and contact them. I can promise you that you'll be flying soon. Yes, it is very expensive, so use all of the avenues that have been created for you, starting with EAA. I think you'll be amazed!!! I've helped Greg's daughter along here and there, and she now flies my airplane like a pro, and has attended the EAA advanced air academy in Oshkosh on a scholarship. I am living proof that this happens often, you can do it too!!!

Hello RC Flyers. You are selling yourself short when you say that you are "just a teen right now". The fact is that you are the next generation, and we need you! I know Greg and his daughter very well, she has flown everything from the T-6 to the L-39 fighter jet and just turned 16. All of this happened through EAA, I hope you will take the time to take a Young Eagle flight (free) and then get your free EAA membership and go fly! It is a wonderful life up there!

hello, i am just a teen right now. I know that I want to fly for the rest of my life, as a career and a hobby. I want to take lessons so bad, but the money object is still in the way. I am working so hard in a job and selling my personal items to try to get enough money, but am still far away. does anyone know what more i can do to pay for it?
