Gameplay from Airwolf on the Enterprise 64, 8 bit vintage home computer. Retro Gaming.

This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's more a case of me speaking my thoughts while playing the games, many for the first time, and most for the first time in a very long time... so it's all a little spontaneous and random.
Predictably, as I never practice before recording, I usually play very badly.

Given that I am playing many of these games for the first time, and everything I say is completely off the cuff, you probably shouldn't take what I say overly seriously. The opinions that I express are my feelings at the time, but it's entirely possible that they would be different if I were to take the time to get to grips with the game.

However, given that these videos are intended to show that "first time experience", I believe they have some validity or merit.

  • If you were a chick Steve, I would ask you out on a date.

  • @Hyakitaki LOL :P

  • Do you believe that you can effectively even show/demonstrate a game if you don't read basic instructions? I know you don't do "reviews" by the way. What I'm saying is, would a quick! look at the instructions(if available that is) hurt that much? Say like for 30 seconds or a minuite...just to get important basics? This is not! a sly dig because I love this game or anything (never heard of it before just now), but a genuine question.

  • @nookie077 Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

As it is, I don't have the instructions for this, or many of the games that I play.

Sometimes I do actually look at the instructions *shock horror*.

What I'm doing though is trying to represent the first experience of a gamer who largely doesn't read the instructions. Many gamers are like that... their first try may be just like mine. As my info below each vid says, what I say in these videos shouldn't be taken too seriously.

  • Wasn't it the BBC Micro version that was broken with a cave level that was impassable due to the game being unfinished??

  • @LeShark75 I don't know. But I do know the guy who did the BBC version is the same guy who programmed Paperboy for the BBC.

I rather unfairly maligned his programming skills when I did the video for that game, when it turns out the BBC just wasn't up to the job... so I won't comment on any issues with the Beeb version of this :)

  • I have just attached a video - did I miss anything? I can't see it. Anyway, check my video "The Airwolf game - Enterprise 128 version".

By the way, the game is buggy, it has never end, even if you get the last screen, the game "freezes".

  • this game looks fuckin shit mate lol

  • Anything to make a buck from a franchise, looks like.

  • It was an abysmal game on all formats.

  • christ!i had played it both in Speccy and C64 and both versions where pissing me off!! i never finished this game!greets from Greece mate!hope yoare fine!

  • Wow quite similar to the C64 version of the game. Cool.

  • I love the fact it plays the AirWolf theme song as you play through.

  • Wow, what a buggy game :-)

  • From looking at this it reminds me of how bad this game is on the Commodore 64 and the horrible control as well.
