@WellDamn24 RIGHT! i don't get the fear of subtitles O.o that is the biggest thing for people! a lot of asian drama fans complain that it can't be done right if we remake them, i've only seen half of my sassy girl the american remake so i can't base off of that. But i'd love to see an american BOF, there are like 5 countries in asia that have done it, america should be the first western country to remake it!

I love Korean drama too. And I am not an asian. Dramas are great. All the things that you said are true. My favorite drama of all time is Boys oVer Flowers, but there are a lot more. I simply love them.

I am biracial (Black and Hispanic) and I LOVE KDRAMAS! I just don't care much for American TV anymore. You hit the nail on the head with everything you just said.
1. Asian guys now look good to me Check! 2. I want to learn the language but, only know simple phrases! (like Be-ah-nae! Which is sorry) Check! 3. Whoa! I can't believe they barely touched lips, but my mind is blown! Check!
Also, I find the cheesiness really endearing.

@Desi1204 What surprises me is that American TV isn't trying to emulate Asian TV. I'd love to see an American version of Boys Before Flowers. If folks like Gossip Girl and all these other shows, they would love one season of BBF. I'd love to see a whole network with just remakes of Asian dramas (only because Americans can be somewhat xenophobic about subtitles).
