These clips are taken from various debates that Protestant Reformed Baptist Elder Dr. James White has done with Catholic apologists: Art Sippo, Justification, 1991; Patrick Madrid, Sola Scriptura, 1993; Tim Staples, Sola Scriptura, 1996; Gerry Matatics, Sola Scriptura III, 1997; Robert Sungenis, Papal Infalibility, 2000. There is also a clip taken from EWTN's Journey Home w/ Patty Bonds, 2002. I was testing out the trial versions of Acoustica and Muvee and over the course of a couple days this thing sort of took on a life of its own. I also used Audacity for clipping and clean-up. This is all Windows XP software I would recommend for those who don't have a lot of time and/or know-how but are interested in such things.

Hi Dr. White. Thanks for your invitation. I'm neither debater nor orator so I'd most definitely drool myself into a corner. If you wish to have a discussion on your show I _might_ be open to that. Anyway, it'd have to wait. I am mulling over the idea of making just one more on Sola Fide. I think you're a nice guy, and if I find you are more nicer than I imagined, I might not be able to finish ;)

Please see Sungenis vs. White. I watched all 20 some videos. White got owned- hands down.  This are not snippets worship video but three hours. Any debate between White and Sungensis- no contest.

This video may actually do more harm than good for the Catholic position based purely on the lack of respect for Dr. White. One needs to practice love and gentleness in everything.

Since the apostles did not practice sola scriptura (as James White admits), then how could they have wrote about it in their writings? How could Rev. White (or anyone for that matter) quote from the bible in support of a doctrine that the disciples did not practice or teach. Any quote would be reading in to the bible a doctrine that was never intended. With that one remark Rev White basically admits sola scriptura is not taught in the scriptures.

@canman86 I don't see any lack of respect in this video. I personally like Dr. White and have watched many of his videos. At the same time, I don't know why Dr. White and others use perjoratives meant to emotionally bait his opponents like "Romanism," "Romish" et cetera. It is also unfortunate he disallows commentary on his videos (though I understand there will be many vulgar offensive people).

Yes, they worship both mary and the pope constantly. Even your own user name is indicative of it.

Yes, the catholic church murdered millions of Christ's saints and also tortured them, though it isn't surprising seeing as how it is headed by satan.

Jesus Christ was speaking regarding the collective elect, which is the church. The church of Christ is not a visible man made institution ruled over by a pope.

Furthermore, we do know that the gates of hell have in fact prevailed over the roman church. They have departed from the Gospel of Christ, they have turned to idol worship, mary worship, and pope worship. They have murdered countless saints of Christ.

If the Catholic church is the oldest church on earth, what church do you think Jesus, was talking about/ and do you think that Jesus was not talking about a visible organization. any institution on earth needs organization otherwise it would not stand you can not have one church saying one thing and another saying something else.
