Great interview, Chris - with a man I went to D'Arcy McGee Highschool with - the GREAT Reggie Flemming - in the 1950's. He will remember Brother Paul, Barney, Mr. Scullion - and the cadet corps.
I'm sorry he's not well - tell him hello from Tom Routledge.
Honestly Chris, I would like to slap that care giver right now! Ive been working health care for 8 years and I am a Nursing Student and If I was there and saw him transfer him like that, I would have fired him on the spot!
As a young boy I became a Black Hawks fan and idolized Bobby Hull. But I remember Reggie Fleming who was a tough player but always seemed so mild mannered in interviews. I remember a rather high voice that didn't seem to match the on-ice persona. The video brought tears to my eyes as once again I am reminded that we are all aging. Reggie seems so dignified and brave, as he was when he played. God bless Reggie Fleming and his family.
Bless... What a very sweet Dad you have cherish these moments... Thank you for sharing your memories with us. wish I could of done the same with my Mom and Dad.
Loved Reggie Fleming. What a determined, strong man.
