A look at the 2-day process of installing our earth-air tubes. On day 1 we installed half of the tubes with complete success. Day 2 was not so lucky - we hit a water main (nonexistent according to the water dept) and had to maneuver around a utility pole.

  • The Earth Tubes appear too close together to be most effective without worrying about "cooking" the exchanger field.

  • You are right, but we had only 9 ft total width to work with. Ideally, they should be 3 feet apart.

  • Do the earth tubes work?

  • @wint8321 Our HVAC system is not in yet, so I can't say that they work, but there is no reason to believe that they won't. We'll know by September.

  • Did this end up working?

  • I think its awesome, Let us know how it works. I live in the southwest where it gets very hot in the summer and would like to use Earthtubes to assist my A/C.

  • Too much music, not enough instruction and no real video just still pictures. Join the Council of Conservative Citizens.
