I love the fact that somebody would look at you, and you would stop filming. Excellent video!

Ok, here are some stats. The distance from Lusaka to New York is 7502.9 Miles
(12074.7 Kilometers) That is approx. 13.5 hrs flight duration if there was no stop over for refuling with a DC10-30 but the max range with max payload for this aircraft is 7400 kms! Even with no payload and max fuel it would just make it to NY. Zambia Airways ordered a new MD-11 in 1994-95 which would have had a range with 298 passengers and reserves 12,633km (6821nm)! The MD-11 would have made Lusaka-JFK non stop!

Big Ups to Freedom Airwaves, Please continue to publish more of these videos until we have another major national Airline. It was very inspiring to see the Nkwazi flight to JFK! It makes me want to get planes from boeing, painted in Zed colors and rebirth Zambia Airways.
We have given too much money to British Airways and SA Airlines Camafrik, if I am not mistaken, Zambia Airways would actually go through Entebe, Uganda enroute to New York.
