North Vancouver's Rice Lake is so urban you can access it by city bus (Route 228, to be exact). The easy and scenic walk to the lake is part of Rice Lake's pleasure. This scenic and informational video, features Rice Lake anglers discussing their fondness for the easy-to-access spot, stocking footage and more!

  • @nitesco The pier and floating dock are the main area best for fishing, but there are also shore spots if you walk north from the pier. Most of these spots have trees tightly around them so fly fishing would not be possible, but fishing with a spinning outfit is very doable. Bottom fishing with bait works well, but give small spinners and spoons (1/16 - 1/8oz) a try as well if bait does not work.

  • Are there many places around the lake to fish? Or is the pier it? Fishing from the bottom is the best method here?
