As a bible believing minister I study alot of Edwards writings and sermons. Great man of God, and a very firm fire and brimstone preacher. Especially with his sermon titled: Sinners In The Hands Of An Angry God".... It's said that men and women were crawling to the alter before the sermon was even over begging and pleading with God to have mercy. Powerful message still to this day!

Tony would that be the scietific age that has seen more killing in the name of atheism that 1900 years of Christianity put together? The age where gas ovens were invented and used and atomic warfare? i hear your complaint. Read your Bible, nothing new under the sun. I will pray for you.

I deeply regret the time I have wasted in prayer and Bible study. None of the men in that graveyard have increased our understanding of life, they simply repeat each other. They were looking in the wrong place for the answers and what a shame they didn't apply their minds to a useful area of knowledge, we could have had a cure for cancer by now.
It will be at least another 200 years before people finally join the modern (scientific) age. Please hurry up.
