A "ball of fire coming from the sky" reportedly kills a woman (identified as Silvina Espinoza) and injures 8 other persons near Buenos Aires, Argentina early Monday morning, September 26, 2011. The cause of the blast is presently unknown.
PLEASE NOTE: The photo used in this video is not of the actual incident. Thank you.
At least some of the Spanish-speaking press is referring to the object that caused the blast as a "meteorito", or meteorite. We will include links below to one Spanish write-up on the story, as well as a YouTube video apparently shot on location in Argentina that shows the damage the blast caused.
In the Spanish language, the word for "UFO" is "OVNI" (Objeto volador no identificado).

Description: Demolition by US Marine Corps troops of a house in New Ubaydi, Iraq during Operation Matador, May 2005.
Explosion during Operation Matador. An Iraqi house in New Ubaydi contained a large weapons cache. So instead of risking it being booby trapped, Marines just blew the house with the help of 5 sticks of C4.

I do believe in UFOs and I could even believe it was a meteorite falling from the sky that caused the explosion of the two houses in Monte Grande, but, it is reported to have happened at 2am. The picture shown here looks more from a midday shot. i would guess that picture is from another explosion happened years ago in a militar base in Cordoba province, Argentina.

@patriciamettica The picture used here is not of the actual explosion, because we could not get our hands on one. You can see the details about this picture in the video description below the video player.

@shawnlynch23 I don't think so. Timeline is apparently wrong, and it supposedly landed in the ocean.

@2112deadsky Interesting thought. That has been brought up, that it could be from an asteroid.
