i know the hotel he is talking about. It's the Stanley hotel in Estes park. I remember people at the hotel telling me those stories when i was twelve and i remember going on the haunted tour and being told a story of a woman who's wedding ring was thrown down a drain by a strange man and when she went to the lobby she screamed as there was a portrait of the man in the lobby. He was the hotel founder. It's a great old hotel that's so much fun and a really fun place to write.
