I was just about to go to sleep when I heard a buzzing noise. I ducked under my pillow just in time to hear something bounce off the pillow. I heard more buzzing and decided to turn the lights back on. I looked around the room and didn't see anything. Thinking I was crazy I scratched my head only to feel something smooth that imediately started buzzing. I screamed with terror and flung whatever it was onto my bed. It was a giant yellow beatle like bug with a crazy black head and red arms that look like inside out ladders. I decided to call my mommy... and my daddy. I'm such a baby. I didn't want to squish the bug cause I don't like that crunching squishing sound that beatles tend to make when they squish, so I captured it in a cup and covered it with plastic which usually keeps you safe from the bugs, just not this one. As always I try to take pictures of the bugs that I catch and don't want to squish, so I held the cup up to the light still with my heart racing and nervous even with the plastic barrier. I supose the bug didn't like the light because it seemed to suddenly get angry and start pacing around in circles in the cup seemingly determined to burrow a whole in the cup's bottom. As I held the cup the bug made it's way to the top of the cup, this made me even more nervous as I could hear the scratchy sound it's legs made as they scurried their way up the side of the cup it's double split red antenni leading the way. This bug made it to the top and started trying to get out of the plastic barrier, scraping and scrapping, I thought it wouldn't be able to get out... I was wrong. Suddenly I hear the bug poke a whole through the plastic barrier and we all know what happens after any slight rip is made in plastic wrap, it becomes completely useless. it was only a matter of time till the bug would be completely out of the cup. This scarred me enough to drop the cup and stop the camera. I called my mommy again... my parents must think I'm nuts cause this was at around 1am, but that is what you do when you are terrified and can't go to sleep, am I right? They told me to let it go or put it in a jar. There is NO way I'd let that thing go I'm sure it's out to get me now. It was one thing before I made it angry, now there is just no way! I ended up wrapping the cup with more plastic and putitng it in the garage. Hopefully it won't get out, though poking through 2 pieces of plastic is almost as easy as poking through 1 piece of plastic...We'll see when I wake up. Right now I can't sleep so I'm posting the video that I took of the bug before it almost escaped.
