THIS is why I am an atheist. I would rather use reason and try to solve the problems we face than just shove my head up my ass and thank god that the end is near. Normally I think that people are entitled to their beliefs but anyone who believes the world is going to end soon and rejoices at the thought is a fool and should never be taken seriously.

my theory on those who believe and support TP; they lack the capacity to understand science, or don't even attempt to understand it, should their peers scorn them, therefore they fear the unknown and rely upon the simplistic theology of TP. how to wake them up? remove them, 1 by 1, from their church-sheltered xenophobic communities, and place them all alone in the center of LA's 50 square block skid row, and see if they can survive REALITY.
