The seal hunt is evil, cruel and vicious. Nothing humane about any animal husbandry.They turn a blind eye because of the money aspect. He talks about slaughterhouses like a spa

Thank you Harper!! Canada has not killed white baby seals for over 20 years and currently the seal population grows by leaps and bounds. The harp seal is a good source of mammalian omega 3s among other things. I like Harper for supporting the seal hunt. We should not separate the killing of seals over any other animals. If you do, then perhaps witness all the killings of animals before you comment.

STOP THE SEAL HUNT and Harper doesnt know a thing. Wasting our money which is needed elsewhere in the country on a dumb dying industry like the seal hunt, and marketing seal products in Asia and such!

Don't try to stop the seal hunt based on moralistic and environmental issues. A business case can be made instead. The seal hunt is heavily subsidized. A lot of money could be saved simply by stopping those subsidies.
