The people who work there are paid by the hour, so whats it to them? As for the restaurant, you obviously dont realize that a 1$ soft serve cone costs about .05$ for the restaurant, all in all. Besides, the kids paid for it so McDonalds doesnt take a loss at all. Sure they have to pay someone $7.25 to clean it (1 hr minimum wage), but they were going to pay that person ANYWAY so what does it matter. It even gices employees other things to do, makes their job less boring with jokes and other work
