I'm buying my first Russian Spindle-I have been spinning for about two years.
I have a paddle spindle and two beautiful regular spindles-II have never used either-'m going to try your park and draft method on the Russian style when it arrives,thanks

Happy to answer your questions.
BFL is Blue Faced Leicester, a commonly available soft wool
Staple length = the average length of the individual fiber strands. Fine fibers have shorter staple lengths than long wool varieties of sheep.
10 minutes is a pretty good length for a basic instructional video.
A good book to help introduce you to common spinning terminology and supported spinning would be Abby Franquemont's Respect the Spindle.
