Amy Grant Better than a Hallelujah. This video was temporarily taken down by YouTube at EMIs request. My heart was broken. I wrote to EMI that this made me sad. BUT after a week I owe much thanks to Amy Grant, her management team, and lastly EMI for reconsidering and allowing it with a proper audio file. It just proves that that if you speak, you can be heard. It just proves that the Amy Grant I grew up listening, singing and dancing to, is the same good person with a Jesus-y heart. I hope you love this song as much as I do. Amy's prose has taken me from 5th grade with her joyful young lyrics to my present years with her real life adult lyrics. this song is so powerful... it's strange, because sometimes I feel like I really don't belong in the christian world. Being, well queer in both sexuality and gender, it can make me feel like sometimes my cries are unheard, or that I'm unworthy.And I am unworthy, but so is everyone else.This song makes me realize this.
