(cont.)...red is "in a blitzing position", but rather because red has already made a home board point, and black has made a three-point broken prime, therefore, it is time to get red's back checkers moving. The run is the best play here, not only to get one of the back checkers close to midpoint, but also because Zoe's suggested move would duplicate threes, making her have to anchor on the black bar point instead of slotting her five point.

This seems to me a very odd way of thinking about making the right move. It is technically incorrect to call red's position a blitz when black has an anchor on the ace point. Black must have a blot in red's home board or be on the bar to be a blitz in this position. And if red did not hit a blot on the three point with the double five when black split his back men, then his pointing on the three was a priming move, not a blitzing move. 24/10 is the right move, but not because...

Couldn't understand the name of the two major strategies. As uBendcat stated the two people talking have such strong accents you can't understand certain words.

Is there a summary available? Two people with strong accents are hard to follow! Then there is the problem of seeing the board from a distance.
