This commercial came out sometime in the 90's gents... When I saw it I decided that I wanted to be a United States Marine. Now here I am a Sergeant of Marines and I'm slaying lava monsters all damn day.

I have such a love/hate relationship with America. I loved the time I spent there, Im eager to go back and Id like to live there. But seeing stuff like this, I just facepalm way too much.

The whole point of an advert is to give the viewer some kind of idea of what to expect from the job. the royal marines adverts show what the training is like, what kind of a person you need to be, what kind of challenges your up against and shows what the green beret means. The USMC advert is trying to inspire people, but you don't really get an idea of what the job is like.
Either way the Royal Marines and USMC kick ass. God save the queen and god bless america!
