  • You should have called the video "Diamond Dave" ;) (David Lee Roth album and a "Bird and the Bee" song :))

  • @Treenaks ha.. missed that one!

  • What have we learned? Doing awesome science stuff > family. :D

  • '' and then they make you not do it'' I remember that stage in my life. At least that Dave looks as if he is still happy with his work. I hated having interesting projects pass over my desk having to select who was going to do them rather than get stuck in an do it myself.

    Great video as usual.

  • @x42brown I agree. If you are good at something you should be able to keep on doing it. Maybe doing the really tough jobs. Not be forced into something they may not be so good at. Put people who are good at being at desks into those jobs.

  • Diamond Synchrotron sounds like a knockoff Transformer.

  • @MrAlexs888 There are numerous videos about Diamond on Brady's "backstage science" channel. Have a look at those.

  • Brady! More of Dave! I loved his old videos about grants and such for some reason. Interesting guy!

  • @HWGuyEG /watch?v=qNhXAcHfdSg and /watch?v=8ScBtD3l1bk among other videos on backstage science may suit your interests

  • Love it when I get my science subs!

  • Nice vid!
