*NOTE* The first two minutes is silence w/out soundtrack.

This is a Russian film from 1929. It's a non-narrative style, kind of like a Koyaaniskatsi of the silent era.

The sountrack is done by the Cinematic Orchestra. This film was supposed to be released as a DVD, but was pulled from the shelves at the last minute under mysterious circumstances.

in the description, it's actually koyaanisqatsi, with a q. doesnt matter, even though i think many films were silent back then, so back then you actually needed talent to do a film. unlike today when they let any fucktard go on screen. creds to the film-makers, and to cinematic orchestra for a great up-to-date score.

Thanks! But I note: I don't think it is similar to the Qatsi Trilogy (Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi, Naqoyqatsi). In that movies the picture has a very meaning, in this movie the picture are toying.
