This video shows the process of how I recreate the maps for Zelda World, I'll post the second part once I've finished recording it.
I've just gotten a 1TB HDD for my birthday giving a lot space I can now use for recording, so recently decided to start making video of The Making of Zelda World to give people an insight of what we're doing and how we actually do it. Most people saw some of these exact replicas of buildings and other objects in Zelda and assumed we just copied and pasted straight into Zelda World, we can export geometry and textures from the Zelda games but we don't get any animations (Which means the Characters/environments are stuck in there pose of which we captured the Geometry). Maps we have to completely remake through a .Map program such as Hammer/QuArk/Torque Constructor, however I am able to import the geometry for a perfect reference making it look just like the original but being an entire different model/file type altogether (As seen in the video).

Not a lot happening at the moment but keep an eye on the Blog.
Also feel free to join up on the forums, we could do with some new enthusiastic members :)

Pfft been working on it for... I think nearly 2 years, though the first year was just a For Fun "on the side" project. ATM I'm working on it every chance I get, I was even working on it about 5 mins before this comment.
