I would love to see this documentary! Its too bad they only screen it at certain film festivals...will it ever go to DVD?

Last I heard they still didn't have a distribuor. But I'm sure EVENTUALLY it will be available SOMEwhere. It was a really marvelous, informative, complete doc...Fingers crossed for its' release.The filmmaker Arthur Dong has also done other Asian-themed docs like "Forbidden City" which was shown on PBS awhile back. He's also on the board of AMPAS.

She didn't sing I Enjoy Being A Girl. It was voiced in by Betty Jane Phillips (nee B J Baker) Kwan didn't sing well enough for that. I guess she thought no one would check.

"Hollywood Chinese- The Arthur Dong Collection" is now an exhibit at the Chinese American Museum, in Los Angeles.

They also have autographed DVD's available at the gift shop.
