This RBGR was banded in Keene, NH on June 1, 2008. The project is a MAPS banding station, part of the Institute for Bird Populations (www.birdpop.org) study that includes banding stations all across North and South America. The stations are operated by Jon Atwood of Antioch University New England and Ashuelot Valley Environmental Observatory. Grosbeaks can really bite!
