  • how many layers of other instruments are going on and what instruments are they? Like what brand shakers, triangle, etc...? thanks!

  • @errorspending All instruments are Meinl. Triangle, egg shakers first bongos next, a-go-go bells after that. On the upbeats is a double caxixi shaker, and the then timba way back in the mix.

  • Very interesting instrument. I haven't heard these in person. Are they just as loud as conventional bongos? What is the benefit of owning these? Are they lighter? Do they cost less or more than other bongos? There needs to be a reason to get me to buy these to replace my current LP Matador bongos.

  • @MrMoneyHelper Are they just as loud as conventional bongos? It depends, are you using amplification? I think volume wise they are close to standard bongos. What is the benefit of owning these? They never go out of tune, easy to play, easy to hold. Are they lighter? Lighter than? Do they cost less or more than other bongos? They are priced reasonably, I have seen entry level bongos for $50.00, not sure the price of the Prof bongos you see in this video.

  • @MrMoneyHelper Gotcha, makes sense.

  • @gblan I don't want to own many things. I like living light. I don't want more than one. My Matador bongos cost $135 in 2002. Similar models cost a bit more these days. I'm just concerned about the thinner wood parts cracking. That can't be replaced like regular drum heads. If they can be replaced it probably is expensive.

  • @MrMoneyHelper Why do you have to replace your LP congas? Is there something wrong with owning more than one set?

  • Good hands!!

  • Nulos los que le dan no me gusta

  • buen solo, solo que no suena muy alto, pero excelente caballo te lucistes

  • @Dndd8686 ~ Hello. I have been looking around the Internet for these and cannot find them. I can't even find them on Meinl's site. Where did you buy them and do you have a link you can send me? Thanks.

  • WOW!
