Well thats your opinion and not everyone's tastes are the same but I think it was a beautiful movie because of the hidden messages. The epic battles in between each dance, in my opinion tried to portray a struggling girl's desire for freedom. The story was amazing because it tries to show how all of us have are own battles to win for what we believe in.

It is confusing watching it for the first time because it switches to a different version at the beginning, but that's the whole point of the movie, it's to show you how her own world is planned out and how she attempts to escape it.
