@thebestNaLu The complete Bible has 2 parts - Old Testament & New Testament - and was originally written in 2 different languages. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament was written in Greek.
@thebestNaLu Old Testament was written in Hebrew whilst the New Testament was written in Greek. To get a proper understanding of what the Bible is teaching, you have to know what the original words are and exactly what they mean. "Created" in Hebrew is 'bara' means "to create something that does not already exist". Read Gen 1:1. "Made" as in Gen 1:16, is 'asah' means "to take something that already exists and assign to it a role. Here it is "sun" to rule the day; "moon & stars" to rule the night
@apache16789 i don't know what the different between made and created cuz end is my third language so sorry but you know do you belleve the bible that Hebrew come with or the bible with Aramaic ????
@thebestNaLu You are confusing the words "made" (asah in the Hebrew) and "created" (bara in the Hebrew). "In the beginning God created (bara) the heavens (sun, moon and stars) and the earth". Gen 1:1. But on the 4th day of that creative process he "appointed" (asah) the sun to "rule" the day and the moon to "rule" the night, the stars also (to rule the night)
@thebestNaLu Gen 1:16 "And God made two great lights...." The Heb. word "asah" translated "made" in v16 can be rendered "appoint" or "ordain". Psa 104:19 "He appointed (asah) the moon for seasons". God did not literally "create" (bara)the sun and moon on the 4th day. These were created "in the beginning" at an unspecified time in the past. But the sun and moon were "appointed to give light on the earth" on the 4th. day. Also many spiritual lessons in this account of creation but out of space.

@apache16789 God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
do you know what is this means ???
that mean that he made lights be before stars
