  • I think it would have been awesome if someone walked up to Amen and broke his glasses Woody Allen style.

  • The U.S. army did have corruption & Brian de Palma has had unfair criticism.

However, that movie was terribly edited & didn't live up to the hype.

    Nevertheless, I support you Brian

  • @gol67 DePalma is probably the most overrated director alive. He has managed to get some really talented actors to work with him but his direction is invariably the weak link in his moves. (That and his almost arbitrary use of music.)

Regardless, this piece of shit produced a propaganda film for islamists and it has caused the death of American Airmen. That's just the fact.

  • @jesseVenturanotaSeaI omg shut the fuck up... retarded comment

  • Redacted is simply... ART, a masterpiece in which is summed up the entire filmography of De Palma... but to appreciate the beauty of the film must first have seen all the previous films of this Author (and not only 'Casualties of war')....

  • Not doubt clips of De Palma's movie is still being used by Jihadist websites to recruit potential terrorists and suicide bombers, most if not all cannot tell the difference between a fictional movie and reality. De Palma in making this anti-war movie inevitably has become an anti-American vehicle in the war against the US and her Western allies in a very active Afghanistan War. I am afraid Kosovian, Arid Uka, won't be the last to be brainwashed ironically by a US film maker.

  • I love how the camera pans to an almost completely empty auditorium.

Brian depalma is a hack, this movie is crap propaganda. Arid Uka, an islamist terrorist watched this piece of crap movie from this over rated hack and went out and shot two US servicemen dead at Frankfurt airport in Germany. Congratulations DePalma, you have the blood on your hands of the very people who guarantee your right to free speech.

  • The producer stood up like a boss

  • this movie is encouraging terrorist ideas.....how about the whole fucking war that killed a million innocent iraqies because ur nazi of president (who u helped elect twice) lied to the world and waged an unncesary war.....that asshole shud be in the hague answering for the war crimes he commited, not in a luxurious ranch in texas..

  • The problem with Brian De Palma is that the last great film he made was 'The Untouchables' in 1987, which was his masterpiece. After he made 'The Bonfire Of The Vanities,' which flopped, it's been all downhill from there. His best work was during the 'Sisters'/'Carrie'/'Blow Out'/'Dressed To Kill'/'Scarface'/'The Untouchables' era of the late 70's and the 80's.

  • Most of those pictures are more likely to be the product of indiscriminate IEDs and suicide bombers attacking opposing tribes ect .. none of those pictures can be verified as the product of war crimes. I know a lot of soldiers and marines that are disgusted by the murder of civilians. This film is very subtly aimed at making the war look unjust right to the confederate flags in the army base and the graffiti on the walls written by soldiers. The film is inaccurate rubbish.

  • Not many seats were filled. Curious. Big DePalma fan. Never saw the film. Would like to see it in his original cut.
