The People's Liberation Army was founded on August 1, 1927 during the Nanchang Uprising when troops of the Kuomintang (KMT) rebelled under the leadership of Zhu De and Zhou Enlai shortly after the end of the first Kuomintang-Communist alliance. They were then known as the Chinese Red Army (simplified Chinese: 红军; traditional Chinese: 紅軍; pinyin: hóngjūn). Between 1934 and 1935, the Red Army survived several campaigns lead against it by Chiang Kai-Shek and engaged in the Long March.

  • Long Live honorable chairman Mao Zedong!!

  • Like the song, but not Chinese communist

  • Ever since the slaves of imperial European navies liberated red cloth and their master's ship, the tattered red banner has been an unwavering symbol of peasant and working class uprisings everywhere.

  • @GaolisVideoLog Whats your point here I do not see how bad planning was ever a betrayal only due to bad theory, how many times in history did people try to do something and got it wrong because they did not have the correct information that does not mean that they did not care. China tried to make steel and feed more people by killing birds and what they thought were pests, those ideas had nothing to do with killing the Chinese. Mao was a patriot for China right to end.

  • @cultofmao While I sympathize with communist ideals I must say that Mao was a vicious mass murderer who let his people starve to death. Hadn't the CCP changed their political direction millions more would have to die. I do believe that chairman Mao set out with great ideals but he betrayed them as he continued.

  • Please give a link if its possible. I'm trying to spote a download link for this movie but I cant. I really need a link...

  • Nanchang uprising

  • @inbrooklyn2008 I thought "reds" would be better

  • @Najismongolia One man's "propaganda" is another man's "patriotism".
