Shreveport, Louisiana - Texas Street Bridge (Neon Bridge)

Driving across one of the bridges which connects Bossier City to Shreveport. This bridge crosses over the Red River. There is a walkway on the side so that you can walk from one city into the next and enjoy the view from atop the bridge. I then follow Texas Street down to the big church and round the bend to see a late night city bus.

I once lived a block or two away from where this video started...I used to skate downtown...like one other person said, brought back memories...good, bad, and flat out ugly...thanks for the flashback...

Your whole film bring back a lot of memories, good the bad and ugly ones, well Texas street period, my dumb ass was threatening to jump from the bridge around 1988, I held traffic up for 4 hours cursing out the news crew that were on the downtown banks of the river, i bet that morning everyone wanted me to jump or push me off, then a friend of mine shot someone in the court house with a shotgun over a custody case, big story around 1987, can't say who, a great little city back in 1987. @redzipperhead thankfully we havent had any action like that recently!! If you havent been here recently,..it is a whole lot different now. MUCH IMPROVED and a nice little medium sized city.

Nice video! I stayed at Samstown Casino for the independence bowl. Never been to Shreveport before that. Very cool city!!!
