MindTree's eNodeB Demo

This video shows real-time video streaming using a reference eNodeB (LTE base station) architected and developed exclusively by MindTree. Also used are a MindTree MME simulator, a MindTree Serving Gateway simulator and an Aeroflex UE simulator. Video is streamed from the streaming server as packets that are captured by the gateway and sent to the eNodeB. The eNodeB does L3, L2, L1 processing and transmits the data to its RF unit that is connected to the UE simulator. The UE simulator does L1, L2 processing and then forwards the packet to the UE test PC.

The reference eNodeB includes 3GPP compliant L1, L2 and L3 protocol layers, along with RRM, session manager and OAM (Operation, Administration & Maintenance). The protocol stack is performance optimized and easy to port on to different hardware platforms and operating systems. The solution can be customized for any customer's unique requirements.
