It is the year 3029 during the Succession Wars and as 19 year old Mechwarrior Jason Youngblood of the Lyran Commonwealth (House Steiner) it is time to strike back at the treacherous forces of the Draconis Combine (House Kurita) who captured your father in the original Battletech and who you have sworn to rescue.You will lead your forces of 31st Century BattleMechs (Warrior Robots) in a daring mission of rescue and revenge. The game consists of 2 parts the storyline which gives you guidance and direction and changes with the outcome of every decision you make and the scenarios which are the arenas where you actually play the game and watch your maneuvers unfold in real time. Game has digital speech and an advanced musical score.

One of the best games of all time. One of the progenitor RTSes, its gameplay was extremely innovative. Also... very hard missions.
