  • thanks brother another nice riff to add to the collection :-)

  • @CalDeRosia YES Sir! I want some new riffs now too! Mine are getting old!

  • G here too, after ten years owning this Lee Oskar, I finally get some use to it LOL

    thanks and greets from Portugal

  • @leonelgraca Greetings!! I am trying to learn Portuguese.. perhaps you can help??

  • There's a harmonica solo in a song called Backyard by a band named Guster. I only have a harmonica in the key of C...but I think the band member is playing a G harmonica. I can play some of the chords/notes that he plays, but not some of the higher ones in the harmonica solo. How can I figure out what key the harmonica is that he's playing?

  • @azimuth457 Shoot me a direct message at pazzmanmusic at g mail dot com.. with a link to the song, and I'll figure it out for you...

  • @pazzmanmusic google "Pimsleur Quick and Simple Brazilian Portuguese (Compact Disc)". I bet you wont regret and get results within a week. Another suggestion, as we european do, is to watch some movies. Problem is slang and coloquial language. There is a great HBO TV show, kind of "Californication" made in Brazil, would be interesting. Wach it with subtitles and you get used to "listen to the singing way of speaking". Brazilians bend the grammar a lot and make tons of shortcuts, as americans do.

  • @pazzmanmusic I have suggested Pimsleur Audiotapes in the past. That was how I learned Spanish and some French. I am also fluent in German. Most musicians have an "ear" for languages, so you should not have a problem there, It uses the same linguistic abilities on the brain, music and languages. Learn Brazilian Portuguese, which is as easy as american english. Instead of Eurpoean formal Portuguese, which is probably harder then Old English.

  • @bwhlsify Yes sir!! Good catch!!

  • @DCostav Hhahah!

  • @joevalu Just takes a little practice... Remember a few "riffs" or patterns on the holes that sound good, then you can link them together without trying... Check out the video I posted from Thanksgiving 1996ish... that was when I really was just starting, and you can hear how I really only know a few Riffs, however play them next to one another...

  • @matsis95 Hahhaha... DOIT!! :)

  • @ClanChattan14 C is definitely a 'brighter' key .. however, you can do the same riff by playing the same holes, it will just sound higher... I also have several in the key of C...
