This is how the code works... I've done it
1) Put the pokemon you want to clone in a box in the Pc (make sure there is empty space)
2) click on the pokemon u want to clone
3) hold start and select, while holding, click "move"
4)let go of start and select, but still hold pokemon
5)press L then press R (makes you change boxes to the left with L and then you go back to the box with R)
p.s. you will have a clone of the pokemon... truly works with D/P, i have only tried Pearl

This works on diamond and pearl and hopefully on the new pokemon platinum coming out soon
