  • How long will it take to make my false chords to sound great?

  • @TheGuitaristOfGod if you practice alot, 7 months to sound ok, atleast a year to be pro. though everyone learns at different paces

  • That's exactly how my scream sounds with that technique (in the ending of the part 1).

Okay i'm going to practice this alot, I thought I was doing it wrong but I think you know more than me :)

Subscribed + notify us when you post covers please :D

Good luck with your band aswell. :)

  • Mics with on off switches are normally shit. Stick with your SM58 - one of the best live vocal microphones in the world. Even used in the studio.

  • @ChrisGuitarDude557 or do what i did and make the xlr into a jack cable

its as easy as soldering the 3 wires to an old mic jack from say a guitar cord together

  • I am a girl and I have wanted to learn to scream for a LONG time and this video REALLY helped me!

  • The mic cable was an XLR to XLR cable, I have the same mic :') Just get an adapter like I did, or a new XLR to Jack cable :P

  • Uh man, you basically taught death growls not false chord

  • It's important to familiarize yourself with proper breathing.

  • @duffman7793 I also sing classically, I see your point, there really isn't a sure safe way to do this, but that depends on the person doing it and their level of comprehension/execution. I have been both singing and screaming for around 6 years now and have never had an issue with my voice or throat or whatever. My only advice to new screamers is to not push yourself and to be very relaxed when you scream, also work on the breathing technique, coming from a choral/solo singer background I think

  • To get the real sound its like doing the batman voice with his techniques.

  • This help me thx

  • Practicing in the shower = unrestrained masturbation!
