Yep - about 50 years... Enjoy your reviews - in fact your 'new' Joe Pass review saved me wasting my money on it - I bought an old Antoria Jazzstar instead and have not been disappointed. Don't know what new Antorias are like but this old jazz box is now my pride and joy and will certainly keep me happy until I can afford an L5.

@johnhguitar Snap! As a guitar aficionado what do you think of the Aria L5 copy which some claim is as near dammit as good as a Gibson? Maybe you can get hold of one and do a review?
