Sustainable Aviation

January 21, 2009 lecture by Ilan Kroo for the Woods Energy Seminar (ENERGY301). In his talk "Future Air Transportation and the Environment," Kroo discusses the impact of aviation on the environment and the idea of "sustainable" aviation.

The Woods Energy Seminar is an interdisciplinary series of talks primarily by Stanford experts on a broad range of energy topics. Ilan Kroo is a professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University.

I think for general aviation and shorter flights Aviation Grade Ethanol AGE85 is the way to go. It could replace 100LL. I personally would trust that fuel in any flying conditions that you would subject 100LL to.
