Next time you find another Hericium, cook it the same way you did but melt cheese over it. Kinda tastes like cauliflower!

It was better raw. It had the flavor of a mild mushroom and the texture of fish. After being cooked it was chewy and lost lots of its flavor. I think in the future I will have small amounts of this mushroom raw.
