Lack of proper legislation has been a major setback in combating child trafficking in the country. Speaking at a two day forum on sensitization for magistrates and prosecutors on child trafficking, court of appeal judge lady justice Joyce Aluoch urged parliament to fast track enactment of the relevant bill to curb the vice. Aluoch has also called on magistrates to use international ratifications to ensure that girls who get pregnant during their education are allowed to complete their studies.
