    I remember seeing John Rowles on The Tonights Show with Johnny Carson back in the late 60s or early 70s and he sang this song. I also remember how handsome he was.  My mom took me to buy the album. I still have it. Just love it.

    John Rowles is a good singer.  But his backing musicians and singers here were awful. The singers in particular had no idea of timing. They just couldn't keep up with John. Atrocious effort. I hope he didn't have to pay them.
