My Wii Menu (Video Capture Test)

I got a new video capture device for my computer, and tested out by browsing my Wii Menu and recording it.

@tito619ramirez to just record video from the Wii, there is nothing else you need to buy. You just hook the Wii up to it just like you would to your TV. I used a Pinnacle Dazzle to record this, and the software that came with it didn't allow me to see full screen video on the computer while recording. don't know if any newer devices or software allow full screen viewing, but if it doesn't and you want to connect it to your TV, you will need some kind of slitter cable to connect to TV and Dazzle.

@tito619ramirez the Dazzle or any other device used for screen catcher plugs into a USB port on the computer.

I can't get mine to work on my Wii. It work on everything eles but when I try on my Wii it just says "no video signal detected" when I click record.

If you have ever used the component cables (blue, red, and green), you may need to change your Wii display settings back to standard to use the regular yellow cable. Also check to see if it works on your TV perfectly. Thats the only thing I can think of they may prevent it from working.

I'm not doing it through my TV. I also don't have a green cable.

im not sure what could be wrong then. I connected my Wii to it the same way I connect everything else and it works the same
